Experience with editions64k.fr anyone?
I lately read a review of the Amiga Demoscene Books published by editions64k in France. So I decided to order both books.
That was 4 weeks ago. Since then I haven't heard anything from them regarding my order. I contacted them multiple times via different ways and asked about the status but haven't gotten any reply. I will try to contact them once more but if they don't respond I will open a case at paypal. Has anyone expierence with this publisher? It's really sad that it goes this way as I really liked the presented books from what I read about them. Last edited by Thalion; 17 June 2022 at 21:05. |

They are shipping their "demoscene - the aga years" to the indiegogo backers at the moment so they could be quite busy.
I had no problems with the shipment of the first volume, only heard a friend of mine didn't get the bonus postcards he paid for but they quickly sorted things out. It seems to me that behind Edition64k there is only one person, Christophe, doing all the media management, marketing, logistics and editing. I hope you can enjoy your book very soon. |

I have absolutely no problem with waiting even a longer time. But at least some response being it just "we have received your message and will contact you as soon as possible" would be nice. But as today nothing at all...

I ordered both books earlier this year.
I contacted them on 9th June and they replied the same day: “Shipping is in progress you will receive the books in few days. We have received the volume 2 last week.” I haven’t received my books yet, but given my copies are coming from France to the UK, I’m giving them some leeway. |

Just got a tracking number for my order. Fingers crossed the books arrive for a little weekend reading. Anyone else received their books?

Yes, the new AGA book arrived here a couple of days ago
Word is there's going to be a final Vol3 - so I'll keep a watch out to order that one when it comes up too. |

After seemingly being sent for extra X-rays at Paris Charles de Gaulle, my copies arrived today. First impressions are good. There's a little bit of embossed foil missing from one the front cover, but print quality is solid. It's going to take months to fully appreciate these two volumes.
