thank you

but the pack is not? i don't remember what i did the last time
well i suppose i could extract the old zips and rebuild everything? or i can use the dat on the double packed zips as they are?

meaning: the DAT is useful for double zipped files, while this update contains only once zipped archives

well... result of a scan of the new dat on the new update (single games zipped once):

Quote:
Missing Sets: 2503 of 2549
Wrong SetName Case: 0 [0 fixed]
Wrong Named Sets: 0 [0 fixed]

Missing Roms: 2549 of 2549
Missing Bytes: 3gb of 3gb
Missing BIOS Roms: 0 of 0
Wrong Named Roms: 0 [0 fixed]
Wrong RomName Case: 0 [0 fixed]
Wrong Sized Roms: 0
Wrong Date/Time Roms: 0
Wrong CRC32s: 0
Wrong MD5s: <n/a>
Wrong SHA1s: <n/a>
then i assume that as for the january pack, this dat works only on doblezipped games?

the dat stuff of course i could skip, but if i move the new archives in the directory where i keep all your whdload installed zips, then i'll have (not minding the obsolete files, if any) twice archived installs and once only archived ones, so that any further DAT using would be impossible.

Dump all the zips from my archives in a folder, then run the rebuild option of clrmamepro and rebuild to a new directory.

I personally untick the "recompress files" (or whatever it is) which will then create a new dir with all the games you have in subdirs. Once it's done you should have a folder with all the uptodate games in.

If you don't want them all in subdirs just run a search on the root dir for .zip files and cut and paste the lot somewhere.

you mean the old ones right? the new ones contain just the actual amiga directories.
i'm sorry to pester you with this dat nonsense, moreover because you probably already explained it to me on IRC a couple of months ago

If you want to ensure an uptodate set, make sure you put all the zips (from A-Z plus updates) unzipped in a single dir, them use the rebuild option on that. (Make sure the individual games are still zipped).
