Kickstart for A1000 ?

Will external kickstart 2.0 for A500 work with A1000 so I do not need kickstart disc ? I have both but do not want to risk it

Doobrey made a kickstart adaptor: you simply plug the board on the two A1000 boot loader ROM sockets and the 256/512kb ROM of your choice on it.

And you can increase the WOM of the A1000 and burn patched bootstrap ROMs in order to be able to boot from 512k kickstart disks.

you mean djbase and the adapter rebuilded by a old "amiga magazin" article.

I know what options I have but I do have a cartridge with 2.0 rom. Will it work ? BTW I do not have a daughter board in my A1000. It is good or bad ?
