I've been working on putting together my own collection this past year, partly nostalgia, partly just to relive some of the good old days and partly to be able to show my son how daddy played games back in the day. Your collection seems like a fantastic starting point from an organizational structure and I'd love to have the opportunity to download a copy, assuming the servers are holding up

Also, I'd like to echo the sentiment of all of those that have expressed their appreciation for your efforts. From my own attempts to organize things, I know it can be a brutal effort and adding screenshots and your own stuff to it, I applaud you and appreciate your efforts to put this together and my gratitude for sharing it with the world.

Thanks, mate!

I'd like to echo that appreciation of everyone else for DamienD's efforts. I'll be downloading everything tonight and taking a closer look this coming week. This has indeed been a good month for an old Amiga user.

Thanks again, man!

Thanks for the feedback Melchor99

Everything does; I've hand tested

Try some more difficult games that I had to setup like: anything "[AmigaCD] --> .HDF" (plus audio tracks included for Bubble Heroes / Payback / T-Zero)

"Zombie Massacre" took me an age to get running from .HDF with no CD-ROM inserted.

...but obviously I couldn't play all games through to completion (e.g. adventure games).

If anyone finds issue then please post and I'll investigate

DamienD I hail to you for your marvellous work! You are probably first guy on Earth to make such a collection. Really great respect for spending do many years on doing this. Is there any chance to try this cake? Only emulation is left for me as my A1200 is long time gone but don't have so much time to bring back all titles into such collection like yours and no such knowledge to perfect every title on winuae.

No, I disagree... GameBase Amiga by my good friend Belgarath has been around for many, many, many years and been the definitive collection... and there has been way more work put in this / it's much complexer than my mere collection

I feel so cheeky for joining just to ask for the link, but I'm a long time Amiga fan (500, 600 & 1200, owned from new) and would love to get this working for myself.
I tried the DM route, but inbox was full.

Help me Damien D Kenobi, you're my only hope

...another sweet PM

Hope you don't mind me sharing in the thread Magnus?

Just read about this collection and the work you put into it.. And wonder if there's a slight possibility to get the files from you ?

I just started with WinUAE to play some of my favorite games since I found my old Amiga(s) (500/1200/2000) in my parents house and found myself nostalgic and enjoyed it very much, but unfortunately don't have the space to have them up and connected at the moment (have 4 kids).

Hopefully I'll have my mancave in the future, as Amiga and also the C64 was my whole childhood, and have only but good memories from that period, and that also gave me the chance to work in IT (as I still do, and enjoy very much).

Kind regards,
Magnus

Looking forward to try this out. Been having trouble with Lotharek's floppy emulator on my original 1000 and had to get a 500 to play those ADFs again. PM sent.

...ooops; and also Land of Genesis [AmigaCD] (with audio tracks included).

Too many games; mind hazy

...but let me finish by saying this important fact!!!

Thank you sooooo much Toni, you're an Amiga GOD!!! Without you and your continued efforts for more than 15+ years, my project wouldn't even exists in the first place. That's the absolute truth / reality

@all; donate to Master Wilen via http://www.winuae.net/ when you can as I do; very much worth it!!!

Long time lurker first time poster all because of this amazing collection. I have been trying to pm you but your obviously being bombarded with messages which is no surprise. I would love the download links if that's possible? Not only for my own nostalgia but so I can sit down with my son and show him why the Amiga is still my favourite of all time.

Hmmm, "nysavant" has just PM'd me with a very good point...

He's being trying in vain to extract the 13 x 500MB initial archives and failing.

Yes, I should have really mentioned this previously... You do need the latest WinRAR v5.50 in order to extract

Grab from here

Hey,

What about 7zip? Will that be sufficient?

Thanks!
