I bought it from Germany a long time ago. It's time to start ramping down the remnants of my C= collection.. I have a heavy heart, let me tell you. :-)

Not seen one of these before:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-5MB-fast...item4160880e52 I know about the A608, etc but not this 5.5mb Ram upgrade, bit expensive of course when you can buy an ACA630 but cool all the same Wonder if it's a newly manufactured product? |

Do you think it started life as an 8MB but then was relegated to 5.5 to leave the PCMCIA slot usable...?

I would guess that it was designed like that - as you say to leave the PCMCIA slot usable - but the design was probably heavily based on an 8MB version.

Me too, would be a shame to see it relisted one month later at double the price.
Rare as it may be, the C-116 is quite a redundant machine. Same goes for the C-16 that I'm selling at the Finnish online auction site. I have a Plus/4, which is 100% compatible but better, so I'll just keep that and sell the others. My aim is to shrink my entire C= collection to fit into two standard closets that can be found in most Finnish flats.. Thus oddities and rarities will have to go. :-) |

airey36 is up to his old tricks again on ebay.
He is selling an Amiga 1200 without a motherboard, floppy drive or powerpack and he wants £99.99 for it ! Shame on him. more here..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Build-your...item4843510d79 Last edited by KevG; 23 December 2011 at 19:13. |

I don't mind that Tony has gone this route although I can see why it would upset some people.
Tony has kept the Amiga second hand market going for many years in the UK via Amibench and now ebay - I have bought some fantastic items from him over this time and I don't mind seeing him making a bit of profit on these suspect NOS items - at least he charges reasonable prices for most of his other items unlike some other ebay Amiga sellers. This NOS sort of activity is not going to stop, it's probably going to get worse.... If people buy over-priced items, more fool them. |

Hi there Peter,
I agree with your post and when you consider the cost of buying all the items Tony is supplying in that bundle including the software, you couldn't get them any cheaper and in reality it would cost a lot more. Basically, you are getting a new setup minus a motherboard, floppy and power pack. Everything else is there just waiting for those parts and new old stock floppy drives and cables are also on Ebay for £25 delivered. I see that the 3.1 Roms that I mentioned from another seller are now £23.55 delivered well I know one person that will definitely NOT be buying those |

CyberVision PPC and CyberStorm PPC 604e
These are pretty hard to find, so could be interesting to some folks here:
