Well, with Low latency VSync on I get abnormal (I think) SND values: from -60%/-70% to +80%. However there are no problems, apparently.

SND% shows state of sound buffer. Normal range is about -20% to 20%.
Try DirectSound instead of WASAPI. Some sound drivers and cards work better with DS, some with WASAPI.

DirectSound AND WASAPI were checked. Unchecking one of them doesn't change SND values.
Only if I turn off VSync they are ok (-10%/10% range).
But... SND values are always "stable": range is, for example, 69%/71% or -50%/-52%, not -52%/71%.
Values change considerably if I press F12 and then OK.

I meant change the sound device using sound panel top select box.

Checkboxes are only meant to disable device enumeration that are not needed and can take long time to enumerate, like portaudio.

Hi all, thank you very much to Toni Wilen for the new low latency vsync option, indispensable. Now I can finally have a reactive mouse pointer and play pinball games. Also thanks to Dr.Venom for his interesting insights (I use soft-15KHz too).

I've tried beta 6 and all is fine for me. Tried several games with no problmens at all.

The only thing I've noticed using old uae cfg files is that's active ddraw instead of d3d and the image is shifted off the screen to the right.
I can avoid this problem activating null filter. Is that regular?

One question: to obtain less lag possible is better to set "chipset cycle-exact" or CPU speed "approx A500/A1200"?

Thanks again.

Direct3D always internally has "null filter" enabled, even if it is disabled in filter panel. No filter vs any filter have different screen positioning (historic reasons..)

There should be no difference.
