AsmOne 1.48 on a 68000 crashes

Hi all,

I'm new to asm on the amiga, but making some babysteps. As my environment I choose AsmOne (want to code on the amiga, no cross-compiling for now), as it seems to be the most widely used one.

But, I'm on a 68000 with an HC508 accelerator (whoopy!) and the latest "stable" release, version 1.48, crashes the entire system at startup. This is because that version has some data placed on an odd address, which cannot be done on a 68000. The issue is fixed in the latest beta release v1.49rc2 (http://www.theflamearrows.info/ftp/history-v149rc2.txt), and is working perfectly.

The only issue is, that download (http://www.theflamearrows.info/ftp/asmonev149-RC2.lha) comes without the debugger
And also the v1.48 debugger crashes on startup.

Does anyone know if the v1.49 version of the debugger is available anywhere?

I don't know, but a downgrade to 1.44 helped for me.

Personally i use Asm-Pro V1.17, which work fine on 68000 incl. the debugger.

Hmm, I understand, but to my understanding, that version comes with a large number of bugs.

Do you use the debugger? And if so, do you encounter a lot of these bugs?

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind as a fallback scenario
