Need recordings of two games' music played on a real Amiga [request fulfilled]

If some of you here have some downtime, I am looking for someone to make some high-quality recordings of the music for the Amiga version of Might and Magic II & Might and Magic III as part of an archive, including my personal friend, Tim Tully, who composed much of the music for the early games in the series (sadly he was not credited at all in the final verison of Might and Magic III, and neither was George Sanger & Howard Fredrics who did the title theme.)

The games were ported to various platforms, so we are trying to get a recording of each version. We understand that emulation is possible, but we are not interested in using emulation, as we want a recording made from the original hardware on a real Amiga. It would be very expensive and time consuming for us to acquire every single system and learn its operations, especially when some of these soundtracks are incredibly short and some of the systems quite costly. I will monetarily compensate anyone for the time invested.

We can provide images and/or save states for most of these in order to make this as easy as possible without having to play through the entire game.

NEEDED GAMES:
Might and Magic II - 1 minute of music (release date 1990)
Might and Magic III - 30 minutes of music (release date 1992)

I'm not sure of the exact Amiga system for which these soundtracks were optimized. But an A500 was suggested to me.

Thank you for your consideration and help.

(Please do not reply unless you intend to make this a priority to get done. We've had several offers elsewhere that never went anyway, and we've wasted much time waiting, presuming that those individuals would come through...)

Welcome to the forum

Thanks, but it unfortunately doesn't have what we need. And we would also need them recorded while actually playing the game on a real machine, not using an external player system. However, it did give some advice about the A1200 being one of the better options for recording.

A1000 to A4000 models wasn't intendend for gaming so you should look for plain A500 recordings.

I don't want to be too much pedantic, but a question is mandatory

There's really so difference between recording from actual loaded game and external player system like Eagle Player in this case ?

I've tried something by recording the title theme of MM3 - in the zone. It's a test that starts at least a beginning of answer
This is done with Deliplayer on PC. I tried on Amiga with Delitracker but it didn't sound too good.
I'm sure you know that, but musics in MM3 are in MaxTrax format (on Amiga).

No idea about MM2 yet.

Yes, I know about the final format (though the conversion was done by someone other than the original composers for the Amiga version).

I understand all about the other players, etc. and everything else. I don't want to sound bad, but I'm not interested in discussing the alternate possibilities. (Unless, of course, someone has the actual original maxtrax program that they were composed on that can play them back on a real Amiga. But that is only for Might and Magic III; Might and Magic II's music is coded on a binary level, I believe and not as seperate files.) I am looking to hire someone with an actual Amiga to record the music while playing the actual game. I can provide hacked game images and saved games to make this super simple.

(Sidenote based on that link -- Todd Hendrix was the sound programmer for the PC version. He didn't compose a note. The real composers were all uncredited contrary to contract specifics.)

I have slightly edited the thread title and put some text in bold in your first post so that people clearly see that you want some real hardware recordings.

If there is no one here with a real Amiga, does anyone have any ideas of where I could find and hire someone who does?

I can do it, I have all Amigas.
I'm not a Might and Magic player, so I would need more help in that.
I also have an old WinXP Pc with Soundbalster Live, its noise floor level is better then most built in sound cards.

While A500 will work Might & Magic III, it would be sluggish during game play. It might work for just music playback.

The time the game was released means the game was just sluggish. A1200 was not out or just out.
