Not sure if it's WinUAE or common 060 problem

but I loaded WinUAE1.4.4, selected A1200 from the dropdown quickconfig list and applied the following:

Ram: go with Z3 ram instead of FAST(I selected 64MB), 16MB video RAM.
CPU: changed from 020 to 060
Added a small HDF for OS3.1 install

Saved the config as my own

inserted install3.1 in DF0: and clicked "start"

This worked for 3 seconds, whereupon I got a GURU. This occured up untill I changed the 060 to 040, whereby the installation went as "normal"

As I said, I'm not sure if this is normal 060 behaviour, or of it has anything at all todo with WinUAE's 060-emulation.

Just thought I at least should hear what other peoples' experience are.

have you modified your install disks with the correct libraries etc for an 060? there needs something for "SetPatch" too from the top of my head....I cannot remember what. I found installing OS 3.0 / 3.1 on an 060 equipped Amiga proved quite nightmare-ish, so i would pop the card and install on either an 030 (if i could be botherd to fit it) or just run with an 020 and then install al the basic stuff (like apollo drivers etc.)

68040.library crashes if CPU is 68060. (different FPU stack frames)
