German A2000CR Rev 6.2 ?!?

Hi all
I don't know where to put it and if this is the right place but...

In search of an ECS A2000 i bought an A2000 of ebay...
i could see the green Powerlight so i gave it a chance.

But it turned out to be a Rev. 6.2 ... at least thats what im thinking given parts and mods on the Board. The Board it self only reads Rev.6.
It is a Brown i.e. clear Copper mainboard as well.

The case says Made in Germany (Braunschweig for sure)
It has the German A2000 Badge on it ... i first thought it was placed there afterwads but no...
the Warranty sticker matches the Case ....
and it has all the 3 RCA connectors Left, Right, and Mono Video....
so it is an B2000 case.

Does anyone remember them? are they common?
I always tought after the A2000 was redisigned to Rev4.3 in Westchester there where no more German A2000.

I shall Post a photo of it tomorrow.

BTW it is Running Again Looking like New.

The German/West Chester refers to where the motherboard was designed, so yours is a "West Chester" machine..

Most of the PAL A2000CRs were made in Germany, so your machine is quite a common sight.

Congrats on bagging a rev 6.x

Thank you for replying!

I dind't know that.

BTW, I had the Machine shipped to my Work Place, as my colleague saw it he stated.
"Hmm i remember them"
I: "did you own one of them"
He: "No but i worked there"
I: ..... you could have said that earlyer!
But he was quite young at that time ... so he did Packing and Badges.
Funny side note:
Phillips did not produce Monitors with commodore Badges on them,* so he (my colleague) had to pull out a vast numder of Monitors out ot their boxes and put new badges on them.

flo

*i'm not entirely sure
