HUE correction [was colour correction]

ok i know Toni will raise a brow at this, or two...

i would like Winuae to have a panel for adjust colour gamma, contrast, saturation and hue. plain and simple that

it could be a filter only, i don't know.
but it could be a great fast and dirty way to change the games appearance to suit your mood or, for more practical uses, a way to adjust the lighting on some LCD monitors.

for instance, on my pretty new samsung 2032bw i need to have at all times the lighting set to 0 or it hurts the eyes, it's just too damn strong, even by day.
but, in games only, that could be a bit too low, so i need to manually raise it with the buttons on the video, and, partly for lazyness, partly because the monitor it's in a difficult position to be touched, that's an hassle.

it could be a trick to make the games appearance fof the game more similar to that oversaturated images you see in the magazines too...

so... pretty please?

Surely you just use the video card control panel?

Why? Hue control seems pointless, why do you want wrong colors?

it would be cool: for instance, what it would be like to startle your friend ny playing a game of sensible soccer with the field purple?

seriously: little tweaks for gaming only, like to make colours warmer or colder.

drastic changes for some research purpose: i would like to see what does it changes in gameplay with different colour schemes, i played around it on screenshots when i was making the backgrounds for Annihilation and when i made those mock-ups for a 4 colours shootem up.

mostly, anyway, just because it would be cool. anyway, i'm asking for it only if it's not too much of an hassle to add.
