Burnin Rubber 2000
http://www.coyoteflux.tmfweb.nl/B2000.html
I don't know if this is a good thing. I loved Burnin Rubber on the C64. They should just let its memory live on if ya ask me Although. They will be released a C64 version (for the SuperCPU) as well. I think that's really cool since not alot of stuff is written for it |

Erm..
Isn't Burnin Rubber that game with a Utah Saints song in the title screen? (the opening sequence is very epyleptical) I don't think we are talking about the same game (as I doubt THIS burnin rubber was released for C64 and Amstrad), correct me if I am wrong... But this Burnin Rubber I am talking about is a great racing game, and it's one of the most underrated Amiga games ever IMO .. |

The C64 Burnin Rubber was never released on the Amiga (as far as I know)
The Burning Rubber he's referring to is different. Shatterhand's one is done by Ocean If only there was someone on this board with initials CJ who happens to have a shitload of screenshots which have been deemed Double Barrel Screenshots..... |

Now I remember it
Seeing the pics of Amiga Burning Rubber I recall this very game. It got a bad review somewhere near the end of 1993 in CU Amiga.
By the way, I can't see hardly any difference between Burning Rubber ECS and AGA. |

Differences
The only difference seems to be the player grid at the top of the screen on the AGA version.

I remember playing a demo of Burning rubber via a "the One" covermount-reminded me of the 3d sections of Batman the Movie (ie just as bad)
Incidentally Amigaboy-those images of C64 Burning Rubber I seem to recall a version of it called "Bumping Buggies", granted I'm sure there were probably a few versions out there |

OK, all three games are very different
Burning Rubber on the C64 is more like Bump n Jump Burning Rubber on the miggy is some Crazy Cars wannabee ? (whats the deal with the AGA version? It looks worse than the ECS one, thanks to that stupid driver bar atop!) Burning Rubber on the Amstrad, is similar to a Lotus kind of thing. It cam bundled as a cart with every bloody Amstrad GX4000 console |

That's a C64 game called Burnin Rubber. Please note it's called Burnin rubber. It's not Burning rubber, so there's a nice way of distinguishing between the 2 The game which is being remade is the same as the game which I posted a screen of, since the website says "Based on the C64 classic Burning Rubber it will feature a car that can jump and squash other cars." (Obviously the authors of the site have no idea either since they said Burning rubber ) If you are still confused, you can find the C64 version of Burnin Rubber at http://www.lemon64.com/games/burnin_rubber.zip |

Am I the only one who liked the Amiga "Burning Rubber" ?
I really think it's a very enjoyable game, it has a little of crazy cars on it, as you race in open roads... you also have to choose the path you want to take before the races, as you are running in a real road, with lots of different paths. There's also lots of different cars to choose. I didn't know there was an AGA version though.... I remember seeing some screenshots of cut-scenes that never appeared in my game (and I finished it), so I thought it was from the PC version (And I never found a PC version). Maybe those cut-scenes were from the AGA version.. |
