Battleships and Battleship…
I saw that Battleships from Elite and Battleship from Epyx Are in the Same entry. That´s wrong.
These are two different games and must be cut in two entries. |

Battleship by Epyx is the US release and Battleships by Elite (Retail) is the Euro / Rest of World release. Encore and ECP are Budget releases.

OK. I don´t have the Epyx Game but the Screenshots on the Boxes look not very similar?

The Epyx and Elite releases are the same game with some intro differences:
Epyx: NTSC, Epyx Logo screen. Music starts at beginning of Epyx logo screen. Voice sample "Player 1" at game start. Menu has 1 more option. Elite: Elite Logo screen. Music starts later at game screen. No voice sample. The Elite/Encore Amiga release covers have C64 / Spectrum screenshots. Attached are running screenshots from the NTSC Epyx release of Battleship and below the Elite PAL Euro World release. Last edited by Snoopy1234; 17 February 2024 at 07:57. |
