Amiga 2010 Reunion UK

Hello Guys,

Its about time we had a reunion in the Uk, for years Ive heard talk about it, so now its going to happen.

It will be loosely based on the old parties from MF / Digital / Anarchy.

I have been speaking to several people (inc organisers of the old Digital and Anarchy Parties). And it looks as there is some positive interest.

Its in the early stages, and Depending on how many are interested then we will take a vote on the place for the event.

I was hoping for rotherham, but unfortunately the old hall has been demolished !!

I have created a facebook page, under amiga reunion so go look!!

Im hoping I can get Cosy, No.5 and a few other "legends" to come along and get the party started.

I was on here before but my account became dormant due to outside influences (work women and kids).

It should be a great time had by all, !

Anyone remember me? The Alchemist. Attended most of the Anarchy copy parties. One i remembered best was the one in Barnsley. I had a great time especially with Cosy and others. I remembered the disk they had with the funny phone calls on it what was that series called again?
Also I attened a lot of parties all round the uk about 25 in all! Including one somewhere in South Wales with a guy called Mark. The seven bridge was closed on way back due to Gale force 13 winds.

My groups where

The mighty Druids
Crack UK
Plague
Skid Row

I also ran the very big and succesful 2 line node BBS Realms of Alchemy....

No idea what happened to me in late 1991 I moved to London from Devon carried on running the bbs for around a year or two then upgraded to a pc lol.

It was all going so well until you said you 'upgraded' to a PC.

just seen 2010 and got carried away, i am recovering from dental trauma (or at lest thats the excuse im going with) lol

will pay more attention to post dates i think

Yep 99.9% pain free now after extraction, had a wisdom tooth trying to push its neighbour out of the way

Hi All,

I am suprised just how much you can find out about the old Amiga Scene from so long ago i've forgotten half I ever knew about it. I even found some of the first amiga music I wrote but yet to find any of my cracktros or demos.

Anyway, did this get together ever get organised? if so, how did it go?

Wonder if any of you remember me? I was Nitro in Mirage UK, Electra in Slipstream, did some cracking with Marc/Thalion/N.O.M.A.D, then off to Scoopex and then finally in Anarchy UK for about a year under the name of Fusion.

Had to go get a job, so the 6am late nights had to go, hope everyone is well, etc.

great to see the amiga is still in everyones minds.
