Trying to cheat with the debugger
First off, I tried various cartridges, but don't really understand memory address and such not being a programmer so cannot find the value I'm looking for.
The built in debugger though is much more user friendly and I have managed to find the memory address I need. However, I cannot get it to freeze or insert a new value. I have tried w 0003947C 4d010 and also w 0003947C f 4d010 Neither have the desired effect. I am trying to give myself more money in Oil Imperium as I suck. Does the game protect against my limited train-fu? |

If prices are low save and load game. You should sell all your oil at the beginning to get a lot of money.

I'll give that a go,
Thanks. I would still like to know how to "train" it though. Edit: Nevermind I found a way. Finding the memory address in the middle output area and changing the value did the trick. Last edited by Ian; 25 June 2015 at 15:15. |
