Hmmm, an interesting game. A little annoying in places (I think it's level 8/9 where a bad guy gets stuck on conveyor belts at the bottom left corner right by a vital warp).
How (why?) do I get the option to jump to later stages sometimes? This is the kind of game where you need to place it again and again to get a little better each time. 3,729 |

Small improvement:
16.613 The video of Robosparkle is interesting, i never saw that many extra lives in a single game. Also i saw that the challenges can be solved by more than one way. |

Much to my discredit, I rarely seek out games like this. Nice |

@ Mailman - thanks for showing your compo club badge (signature). 500 points and 10 bronzes is a rare prize indeed, and rank #2! If anyone wants to make similar use of this feature, just PM me.

Got on a bit of a roll, but level 11 is a bit of a killer...

Played this off an on since the compo started but never had time to make a serious effort. Got to the conveyor belt level and was totally baffled
Absolutely love the music in this game and reminds me why I bought an Amiga way back when... Sample based playback! Sounds fantastic. 3412 |

I have to say it is very amusing being chased around by cross classical instruments determined to put an end to my rock 'n roll lifestyle. Last edited by john1979; 08 June 2014 at 16:42. |

Again, lost everything on level 11. There's a trick to using those conveyors to keep the violin off your back, but I've not figured it yet.

That level is really easy when you know how
Grab the extra jukebox then get both records at the bottom first. Then just hit the bottom-left switch once so it stops moving the top conveyor. This sets the enemy free and all you have to do is lead him to the bottom so he's trapped on the lower conveyor. Handy tip: Enemies can't move on/through a checkered square.. and when you stand on one it stops all enemies from moving. |

They also cant go through record players that are playing records. This is useful information for a level where a violin chasing you, I think it is a blue one. |

Most of the smaller enemies (e.g. violin) also can't go through squares containing a bonus (e.g. extra life), but watch out should that bonus disappear!

Probably won't have time to try again this round though. I have enjoyed this particular one immensely. Great game. |

Last day of the round folks and also the last day before our short mid-season break.
Don't forget, the winner of this round gets to choose the year of release we can choose games from for the next double round - there's 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992 and 1993 still left to choose and from next year we'll gradually start making already-chosen years available again so there's always a reasonable choice on offer. |

And it's all over for the first half of the season. We'll take a short break but it'll be back in a few weeks' time.
