Rip should be ok, although a more extensive test wouldn't hurt.

Yay, great! You should replace the MODEx/xxxx with Mode1/2352 to get the cue working, though

If you make the .sub file (with CloneCD, for example), I can add the dump into redump db itself

It seems to work fine when opened directly in WinUAE the way it is now (MODEx/2xxx).

Is this change necessary?

It is needed to use the .cue (to mount to a virtual drive or to burn it).
