Alien Breed 3D - Test Arena Gamma

Any hints and tips for killing the boss in this level? Best option I've found is run back and forth the high ledge and let it damage itself with its own explosions, but it still gets lucky hits and I lose 2/3 of my health and have to get medikits from the main arena and just get killed... was a fun game until this point!

There was a thread about the very same level a couple of weeks ago, maybe you will find the answer there. It might also help the watch YT videos to see how others did it.

A thread I was replying in a few weeks ago (as mentioned above) discussed this. Have a search for it and make sure you are using the most up-to-date version if using WHDload as there was a glitch with destroying that walker robot which would mean completing the level is impossible.

I hope that glitch isn't in the disk version; as that's what I use?

No the disk version is fine DamienD - also what I use thankfully - just that level seems tough as old boots! Doesn't help that it's still a bit sluggish even on an 030/25!
