EAB/Lemon Super League 2008: Round 10 - X-Out

EAB/Lemon Super League 2008: Round 10 - X-Out

Rules:
- The round starts now (Sunday, October 5) and will end at 11:59pm UK time on Saturday, October 25.
- Score as many points as possible.
- Post screenshots of your score in this thread, and write your score underneath. You can enter as many times as you like within the round's time frame.
- No cheating of any kind (including score leeching) - this includes save states. If you suspect a contestant of cheating then don't post it in public (anyone who does so will have their posts edited or deleted) - please PM either me or Biscuit and we will investigate it. If we find anyone guilty of cheating then they will be banned for the entire season.
- Please only post your score on either the EAB or Lemon forums. If you have already played this year you have to post your score on the same forum for the whole season. If you are new, the one you post on first will be your "team" for the whole season. However you are welcome to discuss the compo, game etc. on the other forum if you wish.

adf's linked by Graham - game freezes after crack screen
other two disk version from planetemu - game freezes after trainer screen
another two disk version from planetemu - game freezes after "insert disk 2" screen
one disk version - no possibility of typing your name
other one disk version - no possibility of typing....

guess i'll have to do what Graham did - quickly capture game screen after I die

Hmm, I have my own config, but I just tried the disks linked by Graham with the A500 most common quickstart and they work. Which version of WinUAE do you use?

If your having trouble loading it make sure you have disk speed at 100%, It fails to get past the trainer screen on the XBOX on turbo too. And i haven't killed the level 1 boss yet

Well here is my score mate, i #@%@ workbench screen dump half way through Level 4 !! and the game froze 15 mnutes before it on level 2 !! .. And i have no idea why its says emulator in the error because i using a real Amiga !?!?.. Not very happy with this, not happy at all .. i might delete my current copy from the HD and decompress it back. If it keeps getting errors after that then its a workbench problem and i have zero time to get Workbench up to scratch again. sigh... Will keep trying though.

Maybe you should abandon your Amiga and use WinUAE...

16.8 is the newest WHDLoad version Blade. It's been about for over a year now I think so you're a bit behind the times

Yup - that's me!

Could just watch it now (Youtube is locked at work).

Hahahaha - awesome vid! I really fully agree with the winner of the fight.
I know it's not a popular attitude on an Amiga board - but once you've successfully set your screen to 100Hz refresh rate a real Amiga becomes obsolete.

I thought you might like it

I just tried X-Out again guys and it crashed half way through level 3. I will need to get my CD drive up and running again so i can transfer larger files back over to my HD. the newest version of WHDLoad is 721k, but a PC HD Floppy formatted for the Amiga with the DEV PC0: formats at 720k and no higher so maybe it wont allow that 1k extra!?.. will give it a shot tomorrow, other than that, i will probably just reinstall IDEFix97, but do i have that i disk still!!??.. arrghh.. very frustrating!! @#%@^^

BTW - The strange thing here is, that when i first played it again last week, it got to the end of level 5 with no problems and it worked fine for maybe 1 whole night ( i was trying to not post a score until i got close to your score TCD .. hehehe ) and then the following night.. kaput!!.. no more.. errors, freezes..etc.
