Global Effect

I have just tried to start "Global Effect" in different language than english, but if i select french, german, italian the screen flashes and nothing happens, only if i select english language the game continues.
So, whats wrong, i have tried cracked and original version, both the same result.
I have not investigated closer until now, but i suppose you have to change language scripts on disk, probably.

Ok, different languages than english needs installing first, to do so you have to start by inserting disk 3 first and double click the desired install script, then you have to insert disk 1 and the desired language will be installed.

by the way, then is probably no way to play the cd32 version in different language than english, althought the language files are on CD too.

This is a game I'd love to see given a WHDLoad install. I gather the CD32 version has improved gameplay with the graphics enhancements. Its the same team that produced the fantastic Steel Empire/Cyber Empires I believe so surely worth a look.

I did a bit more research on the game and apparently it has link-up option.
Is that correct? On the CD32 version as well?
