Requesting Spellbound Dizzy
Hi lads
Can somebody with a crack of Spellbound Dizzy please upload it? The standalone disk version only please, I have the single file from the Big Six Dizzy ISO and that seems to be just as faulty as the standalone version. What I'm after to check is when you start the game, you seem to have infinite lives and cannot die. When you first lose a life the life counter (which has 3 eggs in) suddenly disappears and then a few strange things happen. It might be a hidden checksum thing or something but I'd be very happy if somebody with it could upload! Thanks in advance! |

Is this part of the Dizzy Collection or a separate release

Well, for certain the standalone version exists, but unfortunately I don't have it. Here's a pic of the set that I didn't win on ebay.

Yeah I bet it was some greedy bastard that will turn around and sell it for even more
So does anyone have this stand-alone version? Seems to be pretty hard find. |

I don't think I own any original Dizzy games! It seems any time they appear on ebay, it's a bidding war that I can't afford to take on. I usually go for more rare titles (read: games you just never see much or that sold poorly), so I know I can always come back and get the Dizzy games at another time. And one day, I hope to do this. But many of these standalone Dizzy games are indeed quite rare, so I need to up my ante on them.

Isn't Spellbound Dizzy also included in the 2 disk set which was ( I think ) cracked by Fairlight ?
I think it was called 'Dizzy's Excellent Adventures'. Maybe that cracked version is different from the 'Big Six' ISO version ? |

Correction, Spellbound Dizzy working version!
OK guys, to avoid the confusion how about anyone with a working version please upload it. I just can't believe the Big Six version would have the same faults which I thought were checksum protection in the standalone version...
BTW, the Dizzy's Excellent Adventures version would be good thanks. |

Great stuff Andreas
Thanks for the upload, the DEA version is 100% so I'll see what they changed to butcher the original version!
