I can't run the Cd version because I'm using the WinUAE emulator and it doesn't support AmigaCD emulation.

Sure it does, just install any cdfs. Alternatively set your cd-rom path as a hard drive.

cd file system, exact thing you need to install to get a cd rom working on a real amiga, like the idefix package.

Use this one: ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/util/arc/W95unlzx.lha

If you create a shortcut of the exe, you can drag .lzx files on the shortcut and extract them easily.

Hmm the installation is pretty straightforward but at some point you should select atapi.device from a list, or maybe that was a device with a similar name. The window does NOT appear with the right device selected. If your device is really not installed you can manually copy the .device file to your devs directory on your boot drive and reboot once.

If you try IDEfix97, just use FINDDEVICE which is included in the archiv to get the right device and Unit Number

I did it. But when I run this program, there are only 2 devices, that aren't in the DEVS directory, and the devices in the DEVS aren't find from the program. I tried to install the program with the icon in the directory, but it says "can't find the Installer", so I can't install it.

Ok, then that's another problem. You need to have "installer" in the c directory of your boot drive and some programs might not like the old installer that comes with workbench so a replacement from aminet might be needed but I don't think idefix should ask for this. Are you sure your workbench itself is installed properly from the install disk?
