TV Paint 3.6 with 68060
I have been using my TV Paint Version 3.6 just fine on my '040 CPU, but as soon as I upgraded to an '060 it is crashing left and right. I also tried it on WinUAE and was able to duplicate the problem. As soon as I enable '060 cpu, TV Paint is so unstable it is unusable.
Has anyone ever got it working on an '060? Or am I out of luck? It is no real issue just switching over to '040 mode on UAE, but it is much less convenient on my A4000. TV Paint is an incredible program - a bit quirky with the way it does things, but really powerful. Dynamic_Computing |

Before you change the CPU from 040 to 060 you need to replace 68040.library and add 68060.library. Did you do this?
I am quite sure that TVPaint worked great on my CSMK2 as well as later on my CSPPC. I never had a 040. |

Works fine with B1260 here too, I'd also suspect wrong set up of 680x0.libraries. You need a very small "dummy" 68040.library and a proper 68060.library.

Good to know! I do have the 68060 and the dummy 68040 libraries. I will double check that I have the correct versions.
I have the 040-060 adapter on an A3640 card, and the reputable guy on Amibay also provided the custom ROM so it would work. |

Thanks, guys. You pointed me in the right direction. My libraries were just fine and up-to-date, but I started poking around at other things I was using related to my new 060. CyberPatcher was the culprit. I took that out of WB startup and TV paint works like a charm again.

That's odd - but I probably not tried with cyberpatcher; Oxypatcher was in use after it came out.
