Demon Blue: How do you play ?

I'm kinda curious about this title, but have never figured out how to exactly play sucessfully or what to do. I keep getting killed by the seemingly unkillable enemies and have no idea what the goal of the first level is, which isn't helped by the fact the game seems to give you only one life.

Any and all help appreciated.

He he, I have just read manual and I am as confused as before. Strange game.

In Amiga action review there is written that the goal si to find a key and exit the level.

Well the problem is the location of said exit, as well as getting there due to me being almost dead after both having to run into indestructible enemies because of a lack of options, but also because the jump mechanic is awkward as heck.
