Direcotry Opus 31.2 HDFADF Plugin - Write Access

After trying Directory Opus 13 with opusADF.dll plugin, It seemed to work. I was able to export data from HDF to PC, there were two issues though I was facing...

1. Unable to write back to HDF? (No write access)
2. Not All HDF's were able to be opened?

Is there a magical version number that the plugin works with? I tried an older version of opus 12.3 but it still behaved the same as version 13.2

I'm hoping I can replicate my use with Dopus in Amiga Environment the exact same way with Dopus 13.2 in Windows

It works fine with ADFs on Directory Opus 13; however, I have not had luck with HDFs.

Yes, OPENFIRY.dll works for ADF perfectly but that is for ADF's only.

opusADF.dll works for both ADF & HDF though the issue with HDF I think I know what the issue is...

Any HDF with filesize of 1.71MB or smaller will not open with opusADF.dll with Directory Opus V13.2 X64Bit

If the HDF is 1.72MB or larger it will open.

The other problem is that you can't write files to a hdf at all with opusADF.dll but you can write too adf files using OPENFIRY.dll

The other issue I see with OPENFIRY.dll is that it wont open every ADF for example

3D Galax (1989)(Gremlin)[cr Codetapper][f AGA Codetapper].adf - Working

3D World Boxing (1992)(Simulmondo)(M4)[cr SKR][t +5 GOD].adf - Not Working (Bad Checksum) And crashes Directory Opus V13.2 X64Bit

So it's a mixed bag, and technically not working and unreliable.

Surely there's some members here who use this application on PC?

I'm using it, but it's the same experience you have. In my case though, I've not been able to open any hdf file, no matter the size of it. So, I just have opusADF installed for .adf images and that's all I'm using it for.

edit:

Maybe it can open FFS HDFs and nothing else. I just tried it with the only FFS image I have and it handled it correctly. Or, it could be that's also the only HDF image I have with a single partition in it.
Still no write of course, just read.
