Supradrive 500XP manual?

Hey folks, does anyone have the Supradrive 500XP manual? The 500 and all series 1 manuals are on amiga.resource.cx, but unfortunately no XP versions...

Somewhere deep in my memory I remember Doog or Zetr0 having one of these?????

I'll have a look through my dox archive & get back to you if I find anything

Why do you need manuals? You don't need manuals to use it

(I have same controllers and no manuals either)

I don't "need" manuals, I like manuals for the hardware I've got.

(Which is why I've scanned the HDA-506 and CSA Magnum 40 manuals I've got and sent em on to Amiga.resource.cx )

The manual that came with my 500XP just says "SupraDrive" on it, and it covers all models.. You could use the ver 2.0 or ver 3.0 software on the older models as well, from what I understand.. Anywayze, its a pretty thick manual.. You want me to scan it?

Very kind Metalguy66

Before you do start the mammoth scan, could you just check that it's not the same one that amiga.resource.cx already have?
http://amiga.resource.cx/manual/SupraDrive_Series_I.pdf

If it's different to that one (and not 90-odd pages) then a scan would be great...

My guess is that it is that one that's already been scanned by someone with near infinite patience

Nope, It's not the same as that...

It is a pretty thick book, but its not that hard to scan.. I have a machine that will scan it in a few seconds... But It will be scanned EXACTLY like the real book.. Youll have to print the whole thing out (double sided), fold it in half, and "center-staple" it into a booklet..

SHouldn't be a problem for you because Adobe Acrobat/Reader supports 2-step double sided printing with any printer..

The only consideration is going to be the size of the file.. I can throw it up on megaupload.com if you want..

Thanks MetalGuy, if it's not the same then if you can get a scan then that would be great not just for me but for the amiga.resource.cx site too

You've got a machine that'll scan it in a few seconds? Fantastic!

Did this manual ever get scanned? I recently aquired one of these and would like to have a manual. Maybe someone knows what the cable connected between the drive and P6 on the board is for?

EDIT: Silly me, I just realised the obvious answer to the cable question. It's for changing SCSI ID via the dip switch on the controller.
