A2000 keyboard extension possible ?

Is it possible to get an extension to lengthen the A2000 keyboard cable? would something like this do ?

Reason I am asking is putting my A1200 tower case on the floor means that the A2000 keyboard is a bit short getting to my desk.

Hi Andrew,

Yes, provided your A2000 keyboard will fit the 270º 5-pin DIN socket (that's what it looks like), then you should be good to go.

The other variant of 5-pin DIN lead is the 180º type, where the pins are much closer together.

(Unfortunately I can't tell you precisely what type the A2000 keboard plug is, because I don't have one. My A4000 keyboard is the 6-pin mini-DIN (PS/2) type.)

which shows the pinout diagram for an A2000

I suspect it might be the 180º type after all. If so, where can I get ? I see lots of PC AT extensions on Ebay is that what I am after ?
