New, New Amiga hardware announced.

Its on Amiga.com too!

http://www.amiga.com/news/index.php?art=26

Add that, plus the announced SAM E440P board as well and now there are two possiblities. Although, to be fair, neither have been released just yet.

what a joke... after all this bashing on a.org, and this announcement now... yeah right, come to www.keropi.amiga.gr and grab my ppc boards what will run amigaOS 6 !!!!
bah, I am tired of all this bogus news. Suppose they do release it, so what? we get a lame cpu, which will support old-tech video cards and worst of all, a fan-based OS that has nothing to offer against windows or linux....
except from fanboys, noone else will pay attention to it... the time for amiga is long gone unfortunatelly.

I'd seriously be interested in one of these but I know they'll find some way of boning it up.

Apparently they have no idea what are our needs...

We don't want any more Amiga-like systems, no more Dizzy and Fred's home-made pr0n and we don't like anything with Amiga.inc on it.

I take it you are using the "Royal" "We" when you type? Because last time I looked, there are plenty of people who want Amiga type systems as to the Amiga.inc part, heck, I know where you are coming from.

Just the same way as they know what "we" need.

I'm sure there always is going to be some people who will like 'Amiga type systems' but those never going to be in the number worth mentioning... (something like those scanline lovers)

sooooooo..............
I fail to see the point on another platform, with limited-software-supported OS and nothing revolutionary to offer... the time when amiga and it's chipsets made a difference is long gone ...

What *I* want is a MiniMIG or Clone-A with a Compact Flash adaptor. All someone has to do to get my money is make them and sell them to me.
