been playing Puzzle Quest: Galactrix on the DS next to the pile of other DS games I've been playing. Its a nice new addition to the original gameplay with an improved puzzle style combat and this time it is a star trek type of setting in stead of a medieval RPG one. It is lacking in story compared to the original though and it starts a little slow, but overall it has more things to do and is a lot bigger.

Fun game!

Been fiddling around with MAME, mostly lightgun games, Alien Gun, Beast Busters. Tried around with Killer Instinct, but it is too slow I wonder if some of my settings are off, or if Mame has become super slow in 0.130 compared to 0.105, which is what I used to run.

Yup, I've been exercising on prince level a bit last week and right now I'm leading in a monarch level map. I've got problems beating monarch when there are a lot of npc civs around though. With only 3 competent npc civs it's seems pretty easy.

What kind of pc are you running Empire on? I've got an Athlon 3200+, with 2gb ram and a 6800 Geforce so I'm afraid that ugly box will start to smoke when running the latest Total War game

I've tried NecroVisioN for a few minutes, but it's a bit lame.
It's the only FPS game I know that's happening during the WW1, with some cool ideas with genetic modificated monsters.
You guys remember Painkiller?
Well, this game is based on it's engine, but somehow looks/acts/feels worse... low detailed, badly animated characters, lame scripting stolen from CoD games...

Have just dusted off my old, modded PS2 and am playing through the Ace Combat series again. I think flight sims are the best type of game if you really want a unique experience, and on PS2 the AC series just did it better than most.

Also going through Psygnosis' Barbarian again, that's a blast from the past!

Got Flight Simulator 2004 and played around with it a bit. I like the way the virtual cockpit is done, that you can click all the buttons with your mouse. But the game seems half finished: I can taxi through buildings on the airports, and taxi through whole villages and streets etc, without crashing. That seems odd to me.

I just got Tom Clancy's HAWX for the xbox 360 and it's great

It has more of an arcade feel to it rather than being a flight combat simulator.... which in my opinion makes it more fun to play

Started to play a new German RPG Game called "Drakensang".
I´m impressed, really, a huge breakthrough when compared to Gothic.
7 out of 10.
