on a little side OT, according to wikipedia, there will be more of it coming and its technology will be used also on HL franchise.

this weekend, i'll have a run of some games of the Tandy emulator: it's new to me so i still don't know which games i'll try but i definitely like the screenshots i've seen.

I played this nice game for all weekend. Short, but the atmosphere is much similar to the Silent Hill 1&2. It really worths a try if you like Survival Horror games

Recently played another two games in Civ 4. They took some time .
Also played two episodes of 'Maniac Mansion Mania' (german fangame series) this weekend.
On the Amiga I've had a funny Dogs of War session this weekend. Played for about 3 hours

I did not like Bioshock too much: beautiful graphics and intriguing story, but gameplay it's strange: waepons are not so effective, many powers but usually useless (and there is not time manipulation, the real useful power in a FPS). Enemies are tough, you can die easily if you meet two or more, but last enemy if one of the easiest I ever meet!!!!!

They present this game as the first "FPS 2.0", but I think this is a normal FPS like any other.

I've recently been talked into playing "Warhammer 40K - Dawn Of War". It's the first RTS I've ever played in any sort of serious way, and so far all I've played is couple of simple matches against the computer. Smashing Ork bases with Terminators is fun, but I find the real time aspect difficult ... I much prefer the slower pace of turn based strategy (still looking for a modern XCOM!). I'm not sure if I have the time to stick with it and gain any sort of competence

Maybe I should stick to simple FPSs that I can jump right in to for a quick level or two. FEAR is on my hard drive.

I also have Freespace 2 installed now, which is one I've always meant to play.

Hope you didn't turn the joke around so you thought you guys are not gay... because that's what I meant.. I play gay as I'm not gay, while you guys don't have to play, as you guys are gay .

I've lost hope for a good one years ago... must've been right after XCOM3 appeared to be SHIT.
Now, they're mostly in 3D, which imho completely destroys the responsivness and overall tactical behaviour...

But please, if you find a good clone griv, go ahead try it, and post the details here.

@IC: Nope, I wasn't turning anything around...
But MazinKaesar has a point there... WTF did you play???

Like I said "I play gay".... I act feminine, walking silly and pout my lips towards guys passing me by on the streets, just to see peoples' reaction . I'm a crazy guy yo!.

Didn't mean I was playing GAY, like Gary's Advanced Yodelling, if there now is a game name like that .
