I played this a bit earlier and should have had a score of about 22,000 or thereabouts to post, which admittedly would only have seen me rise to twelfth place, but I got screwed over by a bizarre bug which displayed the CPU's score at the end as 89,538! My own score was 17,360 and I know the CPU scored around the 5,000 mark during the game.

I'm sure somebody had this happen to them the last time we played it but it's the first time I've seen this happen for myself. Needless to say, after playing for the best part of 45 minutes and having nothing to show for it, I'm not happy.

Hmm, I wonder if that is a bug, seems familiar. Wasn't there some bonus item you collect/earn in the game so player1 can get player2 score added to his score (and vice versa)?

(I have no account on Lemon, so I answer here.)

Sometimes it is possible to solve levels in an unexpected way. So for 2.2 - Traps with the mercenary:
You can chose the left key to enter the right area, then go across through the middle to the left side, go as far south as possible and throw the bomb of the mercenary over the wall onto the column to open the left start area from the backside.

But i would like to watch a video of a 59 k score after the competition is over, because I also have no clue how to get that many points. Especially I have not found the additional 40 monsters on 1.4 - Rockies.

This run took almost 3 h.

Shooting the monster generators gives less points than waiting for the monsters to emerge and shooting them until the generator vanishes.

Thanks.

Another note to the Lemon discussion:
I upgrade the computers wisdom to the maximum, but upgrade his speed only if it is lower than mine, so he cannot overtake me when going for coins. With much wisdom, he does not only go for coins but also for enemies.
Usually I am fully upgraded after the shop of world 3-2, so I leave him most of the coins from that on.

Isn't cash shared 50/50 (more or less) no matter who has collected coins?

It's all gone a bit quiet so just to remind you this round is still open... until the end of today

Hmmm, a late and not particularly great entry here.

Strange that I've only ever really loaded this for the wondering menu music (Joseph at his very best), not to mention the title tune. Never really played it, but I really like it.

The round's now over and well done to Harry for bagging his first gold medal of the season. New round to follow shortly.
