Best Amiga / retro computing IRC channels?
I just added an IRC client to my badass Amiga board, aBSINTHE BBS. Since I've never been a big IRC user I don't know what the best channels are. Could someone recommend active Amiga and Retro Computing/Gaming channels that I can add for members? Thanks!

Everyone in IRC is always idling, but join the EAB one!

Ha, yes! I've tried chipping in but have been steadfastly ignored! I think it's probably just me. It's a shame though as the Atari irc channel i occasionally look into (boo hiss spit) is pretty active.

If I'm in there I'll chat, I tend to only sign in when I can chat though. I'm not an idler

Couple pretty active channels (in today's standards):
##amiga @ Freenode for generic Amiga chatting #amigascne @ IRCnet for demoscene related talk #morphos @ Freenode for MorphOS talk Then there are handful of quite big demoscene or national channels everywhere, but I think those previous could be counted as good all-around channels to start with. |
