Smile Hello Everyone :)

Hello everyone, I'm Emmet

I have many fond memories from back when I was a child, gaming on my Amiga 500, ah those were the days, game before school, go home during dinner time to game and gaming after school, some happy times for me that's for sure, one game that stands out for me of course is the classic Lemmings, ah happy days

Since the new year my interest in the Amiga has reignited, I'm looking to pickup a machine, can't decide if I should pickup the 500 like I use to have or go for the 1200 instead, any suggestions?

Anyways, if you've got this far thanks, and thanks in advance if you reply

Emmet

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Of course I have to suggest an A1200, or maybe just test the waters with an emulator first

Thank you very much

Starting with the emulator sounds like a good idea, thanks for the suggestion

Welcome aboard! You will find when the Amiga bug bites again it's very difficult to shake it off.

I would also say spend some time with an emulator first, get to grips with things and see how you feel - Amiga hardware is fantastic but it's an increasingly expensive hobby. I love my A1200 but it was not cheap to put my setup together

Whilst you're getting to grips with it, may I shamelessly plug the forum's game competition found in my signature? It may help you get back into the swing of things and you can have a bit of fun with other players posting your best scores too
