Need info on Picasso II cable.

Hi all,

I recently bought a A2000 with a Picasso II card. I didn't get the short cable that originally came with the Picasso II. I'm wondering if it was a straight through 15m to 15m like a VGA cable? I was thinking of taking my 1084S 23f to 9f cable to with a 9m to 15m adaptor to make the connection to the Picasso. Does anyone know if that will work?

Thanks

Ray

there is a problem with it, on one of pins Picasso II has +5V and some modern monitors have GND on it! so check that.

That's the fried resistor that occurs when people don't check, I recall seeing pictures of it.

not sure if I understood correctly. iirc, PicassoII has passthrough for scandoubler. the resistor is not a problem for that cable.

anyway, I wouldn't remove it, but find a better suited cable.
