Racing Game , 4got the name!! help!

Well i remember i had this cool racing game that i got from the UK when i was 8

, i dont remember a lot i just remember that everytime when u insert the floppy it shows u a symbol or number , then u have to open the original manual and see whats the password for that symbol and when u enter it , the game starts!!

Anyone??

by the way it was a CARS game..

i used to play it on my Amiga 500..

To identify this game we'll need more info.. a LOT of games use manual based protection (Lotus 2, Lotus 3 for example)

well i dont remember a lot , i havent played that game since 93 or 94... but i think u could buy weapons or car upgrades (speed n stuff) for ur car .. and the car were small(not micro machines) and they werent big as the Lotus games...

What sort of view (Topdown or behind the car)

i think it was topdown , am 100% it wasnt behind the car..<- STILL LOOKING 4 THIS GUYS!

also i just rememberd another car racing game , i think it was between 4 or 5 cars , 2 players can play , and when u win they give u cash to buy different types of weapons and some things to upgrade ur car , i also remember when u finish first place they show a man holding a gold trophy.. and their was a level called The Junkyard , and in some levels small doors closed quickly if u failed to pass them u explode.. cars also used to jump off small dunes..yeah and the view was from above , cars were small similar to those in micro machines ...GOT THIS GAME ITS BADLANDS (1990)

Both Supercars and Nitro are top down with small cars. In Supercars you pretty much drove around small asphalt "Scalextric" type layouts, while in Nitro you had BIG tracks where you sometimes went over grass or sand. Jog your memory?

Have you taken a look at those two games at hol.abime.net? You might recognize it there, you know!

My money is prolly on one of the supercars games.. I don't think Nitro had manual based (Novella) protection.

Neither did supercars in game my dear bippy master.

My favourite was CrazyCars 3. awsome game.

Ialso liked the some what soleless RoadKillAGA, i was somewhat tasty at that game! but boy did that need a two player feature or what!!!!!
