hi!
does anyone happen to know, if there were any Non-Fake-Versions after
v1.38 Evaluation (Stefan Boberg)
v1.50 Registered (Stefan Boberg)
before Jim Cooper released the Freeware v1.94?

Why do you need so old versions of LhA? The only version you need for M680x0 is LhA.run and from this link you will find more info; (readme). It's based on S.Boberg, J.Cooper's work by S.Ottemann

The newer ones don’t work on Workbench/Kickstart 1.3. I haven’t found a version between the ones the OP mentions.

The LhA 1.70 uploaded to the zone is a fake, it's a hex edited version of the "free" 1.38 evaluation available from Aminet.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, it was only @andy2004's LhA v1.70 that was fake.

I'm pretty sure the v1.50 registered version available from Aminet at http://aminet.net/package/util/arc/lha150r is legitimate. This just needs a keyfile to extract and run.

just put the keyfile i put in the archive i uploaded into L: then download lha150r.. in exodous post.. it will extract.. ironically it will extract to lha150r.lzh so you will still need lha to extract it.. just wish i could find the lhasfx 1.5p app
have the 1.2..
