CF Hd Max Transfer Problem

Hi Guys,

Can anyone help with a compact flash HD problem im having on my A1200. The system i have is an A1200, 3.1 roms, Blizzard IV 50Mhz with 64mb Ram, 8 GB CF Hd. Now i have managed to format and partition the HD via os3.9 disc - HDToolBox util, and i have split the drive into 4 partitions ( 2x1gb 1x1.6gb and 1x3.7gb ) Which have been formatted ready for use. Now my problem is that i have edited Max transfer rate from 0x00FFFFFF to 0x001FE00 but it never seems to save this information no matter how many times i try to update this?? I edit it, click use, click save = Goes back to WB screen, when i reload HDSetup and edit partitions again the Max transfer says 0x00FFFFF ?!?!? I have tried so many times?!? Am i doing something wrong? I want to install os3.9 but don't want to waste time if the file system goes up the sh*tter. Can anyone help me pls!!

After entering the Max Transfer value (0x001FE00 is the one you want), you must press the enter key to "fix" it.
