A1200 in WinUAE problems

I've been using WUAE for years, and can I get ANY A1200 stuff to work?

Simply, can I 'eckers like.

Heres an example. I'll boot up Pinball Illusions and it will get the first bars of the music, reboot and loop.

I'm now using Amiga Forever 2009, so when I double-click on the disk image, it does as I described above.

Any help greatly welcomed, and will reward with sweets

Hey

No expert here I use the real thing But I think before anyone will help you need to provide two things.

1) What verion of winuae you are using.
2) what config you are using.

Press F12 for the GUI and use the Quickstart option and select an A1200 config.

Thanks to you both for you suggestions.

I'm using WinUAE 2.2.0, I'm using the AGA chipset and the 68020 CPU.

I've just tried with the QuickStart option, to no avail. I'm thinking it just doesn't like me.

Have you ticked "Start in Quickstart mode"?

Edit: Which version? The Paradox crack works fine, but there is a "bad" marked version in TOSEC too.

No, I shall give that a try.

Also, it's not the Paradox version.

I shall go a-hunting for it. Thank you once again

Hmm, isn't Amiga Forever supposed to handle that anyway? Have you checked if there is a config available via their 'live update' (no idea how that works as I don't own AF). Would have thought that Pinball Illusions would be available.

@Graham
Nice one

I've got it going now thanks

I'm sure WinUAE will throw another issue at me. Oh look, the keyboards not working properly

Best solution is to drop Amiga Forever. Use always the latest WinUAE with the Kickstart roms from AF.
