Hello from Nevada!

Hey, everyone,

I've already put a few posts regarding my silly A500 woes up, so I figured it would be best to introduce myself.

I'm Kaigan, 31, and very much a newbie to the Amiga scene. I grew up with a TI-99/4A and then went immediately to an AT&T-branded 486 PC and worked my way up from there into an information security career.

I started gathering a vintage computer collection around a year ago, and I managed to find a very inexpensive Amiga 500 as part of a collection that was being sold on Craigslist. I fell in love with it immediately, and the Amiga has become my favorite vintage platform.

The support that this community has already provided in helping me diagnose the self-inflicted problem with my poor A500 has been fantastic, and I appreciate it so much.

I'm looking forward to sticking around for a long time to come!

Welcome Kaigan - I also started with a TI-99/4a. I'm pretty active in that community as well. Welcome to EAB - have fun, enjoy yourself. The Amiga really is a pretty nifty computer as well as community.

Thanks for the welcome!

I lurk around the AtariAge boards, too, and I've seen you post in the TI community there.

TIs are fun, if quirky, little machines. I've done a little bit of assembly programming on mine, and it's a ton of fun. Once I have my Amiga issues sorted for a while, I'll probably return to breaking my TI.
