One more minor thing that's probably more of a preference but the Amiga backspace key is just a left arrow rather than a wall of text?

I think this is a possibility with the manufacturer i am dealing with, I can prob custom fit the MX boards to fit in an original Amiga big box case as the height is very similar and once Cherry MX low profile switches are publically available it will be even better

I will change the back space to an arrow

Also top row of the numpad is missing the secondary labels.

I do see some legends on the front of the numpad keys, i will have to confirm if the front of the keys can be printed to as well as the top

edit: I added the missing legends to the top of the numpad keys. BTW, Once i have all this done i will show people how to create their own custom layouts using this awesome tool

I noticed the A1200 has an additional secondary label on the forward slash of the numpad called "Sys Rq", whatever that is. Also the right shift looks like it's missing colour around the outside for some reason. Other than that it looks spot on to me now.

Great news! Are you creating a list for those interested in the units you will make, or is it at this point that we should just keep an eye on Amiga On The Lake (US) ?

Thanks!

once i get the keycaps in my hand i should have the final design for a500/a1200 in my hand also. I just finished the A600 version last night, all looks good, but ya never know. hoping for first batch to be out next month... prices i still dont know, it will be best i can make it (yah, i know, a kopout). It will be available in the UK also, will try to keep costs down as low as possible, no point in them shipped here and then Europe, doesnt make economic sense.

I added the SysRq on the kepcap, my a1200 kb doesnt have that on there so there must be a few versions

I'll look into that and see if there is any interest.

Nice. I seem to remember an A500 keyboard fits in a A4000 (and A2000/A3000?) keyboard case. Or was I dreaming that?

Ooooooooh! I'll have me an A1000 keyboard too!

Shut up and take my money!
(Next, when is an in-system programmable 1M A4000D flash kickstart product gonna surface? Seeing all the other solutions makes me sadpanda.)

Brilliant. Looking forward to getting one. Though hope we are able to easily customize the keys differently, Amiga letters are a bit bigger and I'd want the return key to match the original.
Rene Cousins on the checkmate Facebook group did a nice design for WASD keyboards so 'd maybe use that as a starting point.

As much as I admire the community's work, since it seems that competition is still a deal, I can't but hope that this campaign will awake the a1200.net team whose keycaps supporters will be more than disappointed right now.

If the a1200.net guys were able to make the plastic shroud and rubber overlay it would compliment kipper's replacement membrane and their keycaps nicely, one of the problems I've noticed with (particularly) A1200 keyboards is the screw threads in the plastic shroud get damaged quite easily, so I wouldn't fancy buying an old keyboard to recycle those parts.
