A500+ Memory Switching

Hi Guys. In need of a bit of advice...

I think it's possible to do a software switch (via startup or WB desktop) on an Amiga 500+ Plus to take the RAM down to the level of an A500 (i.e. switch off half a meg)??

Just a bit confused of how to do it.
Any help (or even the actual program !!) would be appreciated

Having "too much" chip ram is rarely cause for incompatibility, biggest problem is lack of slow ram which requires hardware modification.

Assuming you want better A500 game compatibility.
