SCSI under OS4 on A1200+mediator?

Just checking, I can only find the info on acube website from 2009. It says no SCSI on the PCI bridgeboards because there is no DMA. However, there is a driver for 78xx scsi chipsets for the mediator.

Anyone have any current knowledge of this? I'd like to use SCSI with Amiga OS 4 on the 1200.

On OS4, I am afraid no scsi on pci for your A1200.

That´s life.

PCI SATA (based on Silicon Image chipsets) will be supported (but not from a cold boot) as the driver is PPC native. Much easier to setup than SCSI.

ooo... interesting, that could be handy, I have a SiI card spare and many, many SATA devices. Maybe set up a small boot drive, and large SATA data drive.

My problem, though, is that I have Blizzard SCSI with some devices on. There are SCSI drivers in OS4 on AmigaOne for NCR chipset, I think.

I hope that at some point we can get Blizzard PPC and A4000T SCSI on OS4.x Classic, but we need a developer to volunteer his or her time to write a driver. There are existing sources that would make that relatively easy I`m told.
