A600 Keyboad on A1200?

Anyone tried this or got any ideas what would happen?

I see a guy who put an A1200 inside an A600 case, converting the KB MTU to manage the 600 keyboard.

It's a simple case of swapping 4 pins/wires in the chip. Look at the photos section of Amiga.org. The guy even leave a table with the pins!

I thought the matrix was identical between the A600 / 1200 only missing the numeric keypad on the A600...

hmmm i must investgate
