wow, 50mhz was awesome! and it still ran better than one of them cackboxes!

This has not been modified in any fashion.

Was bought for £320, 32MB memory was £50 back then!

Will sell for £95ono plus whatever it will take for secure insured postage.

Bank transfer only.

Yep it sucks.

Glad I quoted his original £95 price.

Doesn't take long for trust to disappear...

@Guru

No hard feelings over your Blizzard1260.
I think you simply fell foul of posting before doing your research.

I was a bit annoyed at my time being wasted, but hey c'est la vie!

Good luck with the sales if you decide to sell these on Ebay etc.

Also, please don't feel that you aren't welcome here or on Amibay. It is great to have more new members.

Is it fair to knowingly take something off his hands for 1/3 the value then? Don't tell me about his own responsibility to check up prices, it doesn't change anything.

You're right it doesn't. If people were eager to buy my stuff and happy to not tell me that it was worth 3x as much, then it certainly wouldn't take long for trust to disappear.

If your good friend were to sell his B1260 for £95 would you let him know it was worth £300? Would you do the same for someone you don't know, or would you just consider them to be an opportunity?

I told Guru about the prices before any of you had posted here. Like I told him I'm not trying to deprive anyone of making a bargain, I just think it's fair to let people know what their Amiga stuff is worth. I would've done the same for any of you had I seen you were to do the same bad deal.

@ Leffmann please take any personal concerns about me to PM.

It would have been better if you had posted in the thread that you felt the price was too low.

That would be upto the seller if he wanted to sell them for that - I recall someone on here offering something similar for free not so long ago. Guru had EAB and Amibay as sources which list prices they have gone for in the past... it took me all of 10 seconds to look.. All it's managed to do is mess people around on here and Amibay.

P.S. Not having a go at anyone, Guru if you're reading re-list them with prices that are acceptable to you
