A2320 adjustment/manual
I have A2320 (Amber) scandoubler, but I can't find manual for it (links don't work), can someone describe this picture http://www.amiga-hardware.com/downlo...amber_diag.jpg? It's possible to setup it to have 60 Hz output (for LCD displays)?

What Jope said.
In Workbench drag the NTSC icon from Storage/Monitors to DEVS/Monitors and then use Prefs/ScreenMode to select an NTSC (60Hz) mode. You'll probably have to add NTSC tooltype to all of your WHDload slaves too (is there a global option for this??) If you have kickstart 3.1 you can switch to 60Hz in the Early Startup menu. Hold down both mouse buttons during a soft reboot and then press SPACE. |

No. The A2320 doesn't get itself involved with the vertical refresh, only the horizontal.
You could permanently set the PAL/NTSC select pin of your Agnus, though. |

Depends on which big box Amiga you have.
For A2000 there is not exactly a jumper, but a solder jumper. On A3000 & 4000 there jumpers to select PAL or NTSC ready on board. |

J102 This jumper if available configures the A2000 for NTSC, or PAL operation. Agnus 8370, 8372A, 8372AB for example, support switching between NTSC and PAL. Rev 6.4 motherboards and possibly later revisions come with an 8375 Agnus by default which does not support switching. It was made in in separate versions for PAL and NTSC
I can't remember off hand which setting was which, but obviously the opposite of what you have in there now. If it's bridged, suck out any solder on the jumper pad and cut it if it's still closed. If it's open, bridge it with a blob of solder. :-) Last edited by Jope; 04 February 2010 at 13:22. |

Thanks. Do you know if that trick works with Mini Mega 2MB Chip (new Agnus 8375)?

No it doesn't.
The software methods described above should be good enough. |
