Nothing interesting in the log.
Do you have printer(s) installed? Check Windows printer control panel. (possible reason is for example non-existing network printer) |

When the game & I/O ports page opens up, can you change the settings ??
Default Settings Printer : none Serial Port : none Midi : none Mouse/Joystick Ports Port 0 : Mouse * Port 1 : Keyboard Layout A (Numeric keypad, 0 and 5 = Fire) |

You can downgrade WinUAE to a older version, without losing your settings, although I would advise you to place it into a different folder to the 1.5.2 version. That way you can use them both to see if they behave differently, try it and see

Maybe you need a registry cleaner, I use RegCure and it usually fixes all those nasty problems, run it a few times until your problems score is low, then try running WinUAE. Of course uninstall WinUAE first before trying any of these

Maybe reinstalling your printers can solve the problem. Uninstall your printers, reboot and install them again. Are your printers are connected via USB? If so maybe a USB port change can fix it.

Opening ports panel does following:
- check if Ghostscript is installed (only done once) - enumerate printers - enumerate MIDI ports Problem must be something to do with printers. Perhaps Network printer that never responds to enumeration or something like that. Serial ports and input devices are enumerated before GUI opens. |

So you have a 'network' printer installed. I guess it's attached to another computer. Would be interesting to know if this lag also appears when you try to open a shared folder on the other machine.
