The gameshark is not the same as a Replay, the Replay on the Amiga is useful for a number of things, on the consoles it's mainly just for cheating in games!

Very true bippym, my point was only that it is by some of the same designers of the Action Replay.

After reading through this thread again, I was wondering if anyone (Codetapper) has an a1200 Replay and can dump the rom so that it can be used with WinUAE?

Was the A1200 Action Replay hardware ever released? I remember seeing adverts for it and wanting one but never being able to afford one. I don't recall ever seeing on on eBay or hearing of anyone having one ever so I'm wondering if it does actually exist.

There is a hacked software only "Action Replay IV" made by Paradox, but thats not what I mean.

The AR1200 uses the trapdoor slot and doesn't allow for pass through, so no.

BTW Those Action replay 3's have a command that allows you to print the entire command set but I have a brain like a sive and cannot remember it lol.
Hunt down the "Action replay 1200" software disk version as its supposed to be a hacked replay 3 (I think?) I shall see if I can find the adf or one of my originals and have a go!

Also I was lucky enougth to own one of these Action replay 1200 cards!
The biggest let down was the fact it took over the trapdoor slot
So I stuck the card into a spare 1200 (couldnt be loosing my 030) and proceeded to rip music and some pictures out of games. The reset dongle was attached to the card with a lead and was very much like a tiny mouse with a red button on top, build qaulity wasnt too bad but I always felt paranoid the lead would fall off the card lol. I didnt keep it long tho, trying to remember what I sold/swapped it for.... this was many years ago!
