FS-UAE 1.0 Stable Series

FS-UAE 1.0.0 has just been released, and can be downloaded from http://fengestad.no/wp/fs-uae. A big thanks to everyone who has helped testing FS-UAE and provided valuable feedback

Please use this thread for help or comments regarding the 1.0.x stable releases. I will open a new thread for feedback on the upcoming development versions.

Hello Frode,

Strange thing, I just found that Reset does not work with 1.0.0.rcxx and 1.0.0 final. Emulated amiga just freezes... Fortunatley with the latest versions the GUI still allows to quit. With earlier versions the GUI seems to work but is also without function.
What information do you need to investigate?

No freeze issue using the Windows version

Hi Frode,

It is Suse Linux 21.1 x86_64 with latest proprietary NVidia gfx drivers.
Config is A1200/020, lots of memory (2MB chip, 4 MB fast, 16 MB Z3), two HDFs and ond HD directory, running Kick 3.1/WB3.1 to come close to the A4000/060 which I once had

Config and logs will be posted this evening when I'm back home.

-It might be related to HD/mounted filesystems. I have probably not tested reset on configurations with HD. Will try to reproduce after work.

is it normal the "LastConfig.uae" file created in logs ?

"noboot" meaning after reset I hope... (and yes, the .uae file is written for debugging purposes -it contains information about what Amiga hardware was ultimately configured in the last run).

I managed to (easily) reproduce the reset problem here when using mounted file systems. The problem was that the file system handler does not shut down properly on reset. I will make a bugfix release for it!

I can boot with three mounted hard drive directories (Mac OS X, A1200), I get the freeze on reset as well, though.
