zip drive ????
well a new prob ..
haha sick of me yet all or am i keeping you all on your toes! k here is the deal. on my a3k, I hook up my external scsi zip to the scsi port on the back of the a3k, wb see's it fine and i can format it and access it fine. i then disconnect the zip and connect it to the scsi port on the back of my pc and boot winuae. winuae see's it fine and i access the drive and write my files of choice to the zip drive via wb. (which i config them same as the specs of the a3k). k alls well, then i shut down and reconnect the zip to the a3k and fire it up. The zip does not show up.. ok wtf. so i insert another preformmated zip reboot and there it is, k i eject and put in other zip i had been working with, it comes up no good. k so i can't access it now. .. reboot and its gone, so repeat with other zip so it sees drive and out it goes and in with my other loaded amiga zip disk in and nothing.. so why doesn't it see it after being in a xp system with winuae? lost |

I assume that you connect the Zip Drive using the 'add harddisk' on the winuae and NOT using the 'add directory' ?
