Top 10 Amiga EXCLUSIVE games?

Yeah. I want to know about the top 10 EXLUSIVE Amiga games.

Nowadays, a console is built NOT on the ports, but on the exclusives it can get. It's a little something that probably started waaay back on the NES, when Nintendo as the manufacturer decided to make their own games, that you could only find on their console.

So, I recently got interested in the Amiga because of a mate that was actually in the scene back in the day, and I began with the best of the best of Exclusive games, namely Turrican 1 and 2.

BUT... I need more. But on the Lemon-Amiga list that I found, a lot of the listed titles, are actually not exclusive. Far from it. Most of them are what the common folk like me, would consider either PC or Console games...

Even Another World, which I now in hindsight realize is probably a typical Amiga-game, would be off the list, since there are so many versions of it, the ultimate one ( well, that the author considers), coming out THIS decade for the PC.

Pinball Dreams and the related games, are in a gray-area tho, since the only other version I know of, is the GBA-compilation (also out this decade), which I don't know how it stacks up. Could be comparable or better, hard to tell.

So to me, Settlers, Civilization, Sim City, Dune II, Turrican3, these are all OFF the list, for me.

A game like Shadow of the Beast appears to be something that should be on the list tho, as it seems to be pretty much WHOLLY Amiga-exclusive. I had never ever heard about it in any shape or form before I started reading up on the Amiga.

So come on guys, make me appreciate the UNIQUENESS of the Amiga! The reason why back in 92, it was still a good idea to buy an Amiga 500 or super-compatible.

EDIT: Using everybody's suggestions, and then going through their scores, I've compiled the OFFICIAL list of the top 20 Amiga-exclusive games! Using the score-function at Lemon Amiga, of course.

Thanks everybody! Can't wait to give a few of these a whirl.

1. Wings 8,75
2. Worms: The Director's Cut 8,65
3. Ruff N Tumble 8,65
4. Ambermoon 8,59
5. Banshee 8,53
6. Benefactor 8,48
7. DeluxeGalaga 8,45
8. Lionheart 8,44
9. Napalm 8,41
10. Wasted Dreams 8,41
11. Genetic Species 8,39
12. Perihelion 8,38
13. Arabian Nights CD32 8,33
14. Twintris 8,33
15. F/A18 Interceptor 8,32
16. K240 8,32

Which are both neither Amiga exclusive nor original made for the Amiga It will be hard to find Amiga exclusive games, since of the games what conversions for the Atari ST, C64 or the 16 bit consoles. Well I'll think about that for sure

Edit : Looking thorugh my personal best list these are the ones that are Amiga exclusive :

Lionheart
Wings

Not too many

Arrgh! Yes of course you're right, Druid. I read about the PC and c64 versions of Turrican2 on whatchamacallit, Turrican Seta recently. How could I forget that...?

AW: Hmm... Dunno' what to think of your list, Brian the Lion, Benefactor? Is brian really good...? And Benefactor looks suspicious as well. But I might try it just for the heck of it, since it's made by Digital Illusions ( the men behind Battlefield and Mirrors Edge...yees..) it would seem. I had no idea they were active back in the day!

Ruff N Tumble seems the most promising so far, a pulse-pounding action-game in the same style as Metal Slug. The design is certainly unique, a kid with a Duke Nukem-style gun?? Haha, that's cool.

I mention Pinball Dreams in the first post... But I did not actually know they were the developers, I have to admit. I've been a little bit active in the Pinball-scene, and there, the 3 Dreams, fantasies and Illusions are well-known and loved. I've tried Dreams on a mates WINUAE, but haven't gotten around to really delving deeper in them.

And then there's of course the question wether or not to get the GBA-version, since it's got included both Dreams and Fantasies in the Pinball Challenge Deluxe compilation.

Or maybe the choice isn't so hard, since the graphics are smaller there, to fit the GBA-format...

You know what? Let's add those to the list.

Hmm most of the pinball games came out on other systems, Slamtilt was Amiga only though I think.
Others er... Lionheart, Hybris, F/A18 Interceptor, Blob, Gloom, Nemav IV, Breathless, Marvins Marvellous Adventure, Arabian Nights. It's quite hard to think of good ones that weren't at least converted to other systems.[edit] and Banshee, well that's 10 at least![/edit]

SlamTilt was ported to PC too, as well as the Pinball this, Pinball that 21st century ent. games.

I think Black Crypt was "For your Amiga only".
Abandoned Places 2 too i think (now, was it a good game ?)
Lords of the Rising Sun.

But most of the best games which first developed for the Amiga were converted to others platforms anyway.

Here's some that might be Amiga exclusive (but don't quote me on it)

Pinball Prelude
Overkill
Uridium 2
Worms: The Director's Cut
Superfrog
Guardian
Napalm
Genetic Species
Wasted Dreams
Codename: Hell Squad

I guess quite a lot of the later games were Amiga exclusives...

They were actually pretty much active "back in the day" as they were known as The Silents Benefactor was f.e. coded by Rayban/TSL with graphics by Terminator/TSL and music by Blaizer/TSL. And the game is actually pretty good!
